Today, the start of the English premiership, Footballers from around the country showed there support for finding Madeleine by wearing t-shirts with Madeleines photograph on and the message ‘Don’t Forget About Me’. With just 48 hours notice this was a massive campaign to organise, with the fantastic help of our team working through the night, hundreds of t-shirts got printed with Madeleines photograph and campaign message on, and got dispatched across the country to the various sporting events. A fantastic opportunity to raise the campaign cause. Rugby players warmed up dressed in the t-shirts, and Frankie Dettori wore a t-shirt at Ascot races.
A lone piper meanwhile played a specially commissioned tune for Madeleine at the opening of the International Pipe band competition in Glasgow in Scotland. We wish the Madeleine Campaign and family all the luck in the world.
