  1. What printing method will be used?

    We use Dye Sublimation to print our products. This process enables us to ‘tattoo’ your image into the surface of our products with no colour restrictions. This allows us to print t-shirts that do not fade or crack, and mugs that have a clear photo finish.

  2. Will my t-shirt fade or crack when it is printed?

    No. We ‘tattoo’ the image into the fabric using Dye Sublimation and a heat press. This means the image can never crack and will not fade, and you can iron directly over the image as part of your product care.

  3. Will my mug be dishwasher safe?

    Yes, it is fine to wash your mug in standard domestic dishwashers. To retain optimum quality and finish on your mug we recommend that you do not use a scourer or abrasive cleaner.

  4. What is the bag like?

    The bag is black canvas with a black strap and measures 32 x 22 x 6 cm.

  5. Can I use photographs as well as designs?

    Yes, providing it is in one of the formats below you can have whatever you want printed onto the items, which will all be finished to a high quality standard:

  6. What format shall I upload my images in?

    We accept jpegs, gifs and png pictures. The maximum file size that we accept is 32 megabytes.

  7. I have a photograph/design I would like to use, how do I upload it?

    The upload facility is easy to use and the service prompts you at each stage, but here is a quick guide:

    • Make a note of where you have stored the image/design/photograph on your computer.
    • Select the product you wish to purchase from the illustrations on the home page.
    • Upload your image.
    • Once you are happy with the image, you can go ahead and place the order, or browse your computer for another image.

  8. What size should my image be?

    Don’t worry how large the image is that you send us. We can automatically re-size your images to fit your chosen products! Our printers will not overstretch images and will print the image for optimum results on your chosen product. If your image is not suitable we will contact you by email.

  9. How quickly will you print and dispatch my order?

    We aim to print and dispatch via Royal Mail within 7 working days of receiving your order.

  10. I have not received my order and it has been longer than 7 days. What shall I do?

    Visit the ‘contact page’ and send us your details and the date of your order over email and we will be in touch within 2 days or alternatively you can call the Designs Wanted customer service team on 0800 121 8692.

    Please follow the online instructions carefully.
